Porto Cervo

An outlying district of Arzachena built at the beginning of the 1960s, Porto Cervo is seen as the capital of bathing resorts for the elite in Sardinia and one of the most important resorts in Europe.
A distinguishing feature of the village is its many multicoloured houses, neatly fitting into the natural granite environment of the Gallura, near a deep, natural harbour close to the beautiful and famous beaches of Cala di Volpe, Liscia di Vacca and Baja Sardinia. Its marina is the mooring point for yachts and luxurious pleasure craft, while in the characteristic central square - “Piazzetta” - it is easy to bump into the biggest names in politics and the business world or important sports and Italian and international show business personalities.
